Gocator 3D smart snapshot sensors combine 3D point cloud data acquisition, 3D measurement tools, and control decision capabilities in a single package for powerful assembly feature inspection. Gocator 3D snapshot sensors scan and inspect multiple features of parts such as fasteners, holes, slots, studs, and panel gap and flush in just one scan at a higher level of simplicity than standard industry solutions. This powerful 3D scanning and 3D inspection solution provides assurance that consistent product quality levels are met during final product assembly, and is ideal for robotic or stationary inspection stations.

High-resolution 3D Scanning

Gocator 3D snapshot sensors use a blue LED structured light module (SLM) and stereo scanning technology to generate high-resolution, full-field scans with fast scan cycles at up to 5Hz. Blue LED SLM produces high-contrast patterns that deliver high-resolution scanning with excellent ambient light immunity, even in challenging conditions. The Gocator 3D snapshot sensors produce highly reliable and repeatable results with stunning 3D data visualization.

Intelligent Feature Visualization and Recognition

Gocator snapshot sensors offer built-in measurement tools with sophisticated 3D feature recognition capability that automatically detects features at different angles and orientations commonly found in assembly production lines. Measuring with the Gocator is as simple as dragging and dropping regions of interest and setting easy to understandparameters for precise output decisions. A clean and intuitive user interface allows you to focus on what matters—the results.
